Working on an article regarding transparency in our schools. Curious to know if there are any in the Locals community who are 1) parents of school-aged children and 2) send their kids to public school.
How would you grade your school on transparency? Do you get straight answers from your teacher? Are you aware of what is presented in the classroom? Do you get a clear answer when you ask? For next year, could you get the curriculum? In regards to the controversial issues, do you get clear information from the school website?
A lot in the news regarding attacks on water control systems. Now may be a good time revisit what happened with the Colonial Pipeline event.
